High DefinitionGND filters are made of high definition Schott B270 Glass. Optical grinding and polishing on both sides ensure the high definition of the glass. Thanks to our unique coating method,  our GND filters have the lowest refection in the world, and easy daily maintance.GND FilterGND filter is the abbreviation for Graduated Neutral Density Filter.Cameras are different in comparison with the perception of human eyes. The light sensitization of human eyes is stronger. Therefore people can easily see light and dark areas clearly. However; the light sensitization of cameras is weaker. They cannot exposure the details of extremely light and dark sceneries at the same time. In order to avoid the loss of any details, people use GND filters to reduce the exposure of the bright parts, which can balance the bright and dark part of a scenery.Five types of GND Filters:Soft GND, Hard GND, Medium GND, Reverse GND and Center GND   Ultra low color cast:O.E’s GND filters have a developed gradual coating. Therefore light (ultra violet to near-infrared) can evenly pass through the filter. This glass is durable, the color of resin glass will fade. The reason for color casts is that the attenuation range cannot cover the visible light. For cameras the visible light is between 420 ~ 680 nm.The higher the attenuation rate is the less visible light can pass through the filter and the spectrum curve is not flat. If the light can pass through evenly, there will be no color cast. This required property is fulfilled with the Rollei filters. 


 Anti-glaring:The double-sided anti-reflection coating can avoid high reflection of metal films such as aluminum or chromium films.The double-sided water proot anti-glaring and reflection coating can lower the reflection and therefore the filter can be easily cleaned.
